Thank God for old friends who know just what you need when you are feeling kind of down. Alicia just came by (bearing an iced coffee, i might add). It was really thoughtful of her. I have been kind of sick the last few days and I came home from work really tired today. So when she called up and asked how I was, then heard the tale of my day, she decided to drop by and bring me a treat. It really cheered me up. I think there are people like that every day. Like the friend I talked to the other day. People that just stand out in your mind for being so thoughtful and considerate, or for just the fact that you had a great conversation with them. And whether they know it or not, these people can totally change your day for the better. That's why its so important to be kind to everyone. You never know if you are going to be that person for someone. If you are going to be the person that really "makes their day".
