It seems that winter, or at least it's somewhat lesser desert counterpart, has hit our fine city. I kind of enjoy the cooler weather when I wake up in the morning, wrapped up in the warmth of comforters and fuzzy blankets. However, after that initial bliss, I could do without the numb face and wind. (The sad thing is that the "cold weather I describe is, in all actuality, only about 50-60 degrees at the lowest. As some of my better traveled friends tell me-this is not even remotely cold...)
Anyways, aside from some of the weather changes, life has maintained a fairly even keel the last few weeks. (It's amazing how much you learn about your life when people ask you if anything new is happening. When, 9 times out of 10, the answer is something along the lines of "Oh, you know...the usual...", you know life has hit a rut. But hey, that's not always bad. Life is better lived at a relaxed and easy pace, than so crazy that you can't enjoy any of it-and I know that from experiance. Even so, a little variance from the routine every now and then wouldn't be too bad.)
So, as the rain pounds over head, and thunder crashes in the distance, I am reminded that "being on the computer during storms isn't safe", so off I go.
